So I took the kids out for a walk last night. I decided on a route and then about half way through, decided the route was a lot longer than I thought it was going to be so I took a short-cut. Still, the walk came to about 4.2 miles and while pushing two kids in a stroller, I was sweating like a hog! Anyway, it really felt nice to do it. I am going to try to get another one in tonight!

On a side note, I will be doing the cleanse again in order to steal the pot from a Biggest Loser competition at work, so if anyone is interested in doing it with me, let me know! I am going to create a public Google calendar so we can all stay on track! Let me know!

So a while back, Lisa and I decided to join LA Weight Loss. It costed quite a bit upfront (around $1,200 for Lisa and I), but it also costed a lot to buy the bars, snacks and drinks that they sell to help you stay on plan. Overall, the program worked pretty well. I lost like 40lbs but unfortunately it didn’t stay off. Ok, let’s cut to the chase.

We used to buy these ‘Splash Packs’ which are comparable to the Crystal Lite To-Go packs you buy at the store, but we were assured they were different. Anyway, my Boss, Nic Beining bought some Mix-Ade packs from Aldi’s and offered me one during one of our meetings and I had to double take. It was the EXACT same packet as the LA Weight Loss ones! Nic said he paid like $1.49 for 10 packets of the Mix-Ade and Lisa and I paid $4.50 per 10 pack at LA Weight Loss. They were in a different box, but the packets themselves are EXACTLY the same!
