This site collects very little, on purpose.

What gets collected

Browsing this site requires no account and sets no advertising trackers. Three things can involve your data:

• The contact form. If you write to me, the form collects your name, email address, a category, and your message, because a reply needs all four. Submissions are delivered to my inbox and kept only as long as the conversation stays useful. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical signals from your browser to tell humans from bots.
• Analytics. This site uses a self-hosted instance of Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool. It is cookieless, collects aggregate page statistics rather than personal profiles, and the data stays on infrastructure I control. No analytics data is sold or shared. Alongside page counts it records a handful of named events, all of them about the site rather than about you: which links get followed, how far down a page people scroll, whether a contact message went through.
• Session recordings and heatmaps. Umami also records how pages get used: pointer movement, clicks, scrolling, and which pages follow which. I use it to find the parts of this site that do not work and fix them. Every form field is masked in your browser before anything is sent, so what you type into the contact form is never part of a recording. Recordings go to the same self-hosted instance and are not sold or shared. If you would rather not be recorded, turning on Do Not Track in your browser stops both the recording and the analytics, and so does any extension that blocks analytics scripts.

What never happens

• No selling or renting of any data, ever.
• No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
• No personal data in server logs beyond standard requests.

Third parties involved

The site is hosted on Vercel and served through Cloudflare, both of which process requests as infrastructure providers. The contact form’s delivery provider transmits messages to my inbox. Each processes only what that job requires.

Your choices

If you have written to me and would like that message deleted, ask through the same form (or reply to any email from me) and it will be done. External links on this site lead to sites with their own privacy practices.
